What is kindness?
Does it even exist anymore?
I think
I saw some kindness
once
but, I can’t be sure.
What does it look like?
Is it religion?
Is it faith?
Maybe it is much
simpler
than that.
If you looked for it
everyday
all day
how much would you
find?
Is it too
late
for me
or
you
Maybe if we can
find some
hope
it will
lead us
to
kindness.
Will you recognize it?
I loved this! Extremely thought-provoking. I think if we find some hope that the kindness will come back, too. Sandy
Now if you could just tell me where that tricky hope has been hiding.
Sometimes it’s difficult to find…I found that mine had been hidden in my heart all along.
Now that is beautiful. That would be the perfect end to the poem.
beautifully written!
Thank you!
A thinking post – like these. Thanks for the reminder!
Anytime
I was wondering the same thing over in my neck of the woods. I’m questioning that myself.
It is out there, I think.
Nice piece, very thought provoking
why thank you
I recognize kindness in you, Bonnie!
you are too kind as always. too kind.
words that make you think..
Thinking is good, I think.
I think so too.
Kindness lives in hope…..lovely thoughts for us to ponder!
Thanks for the kind words.
Thanks for the reminder. Kindness always starts with self and then it just finds a way of spreading.
Word.
Somewhere, some place I find kindness every day and hope to give some, too. Nice words you have shared.
Teach me your trick of finding it every day.
No trick, you just have to recognize the little things in life as they are handed to you.
hope and kindness are still alive somewhere… i would like to believe so…
Me too.

KINDNESS IS AS KINDNESS DOES. THE MORE YOU PUT OUT THERE THE MORE SPREADS THROUGHOUT THE LAND.!!!
I like the emphasis with all caps.
