  1. I want to start by saying . . . if you’d rather not participate, I totally understand. I have declined in the past myself. It is kind of a pain in the arse. That said.

I’m awarding you the Versatile Blogger Award because I like your blog and think others will too. As with everything in life, there are strings attached. 1) You are to give the award to 15 other bloggers you feel are deserving and notify them of the award. 2) Make a post thanking the person that gave you the award (moi’) and listing your 15 choices. Provide links to these 16 blogs in your post. 3) Lastly, in your post, list seven things the bloggy world doesn’t know about you.

Here is the info I was given for the graphic of the award to be used in your post.

Personally, I had trouble with it, so feel free to contact me if you need help.

The bottom line . . . whether you participate or not . . . I think you have a rockin’ blog.

  3. Okay, I write a blog about beekeeping and English gardening, which couldn’t be more different than your blog. But I love your blog!! I have no choice but to follow you!! You are indeed awesome!! 🙂

  4. You are such an awesome blogger! I have to say that when I read your post ‘Lets be friends…never mind’ the introvert part was me all over. And I thought, “Hey, I still have hope!”
I just want to tell you how much your sarcasm brightened my day. It might not mean much coming from a seventeen year old, but I really truly love your blog and intend to follow it for all I’m worth. And I most definitely am not saying this for a followback or anything. I honestly admire your writing.

  6. Morning! You have been nominated for the Kreativ Blogger Award! Check out my blog for rules if you wish to accept! Happy Blogging!

    • Wow, thanks! I am truly humbled. I will admit though at this point I have forgotten who has given me what award and I feel if I pass on one it will look like I ignored others when truly I forgot where and who gave them to me, So long story short. I may pass it on maybe not. But I am honored and thankful.

      • You are welcome and obviously it is yours to do what you wish with! No obligations at all! Enjoy your blog, so keep on doing what you are doing!

  7. I just read your comment to a blog post by Michael Hulshof-Schmidt on the War On Women. I wanted to make sure that you are aware of the Unite Against the War On Women rally at the State Capitol on April 28. We have numerous speakers including Sec. of State Kate Brown, Oregon’s first African American legislator Margaret Carter, TransActive Ex. Dir. Jenn Burleton (Michael & I serve on the Advisory Board for TransActive), and many others. For more information you can contact me. Also, the website: http://www.wearewomenmarch.net/, and Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/WOWOR/257400227685762/?ref=notif&notif_t=group_activity&__adt=4#!/groups/WOWOR/

  8. It’s not good anywhere, but things are so much better in Oregon than in Santorum country where you live. How do you survive?

  9. For what it’s worth, B.S., I’ve nominated you for an award too. For Lovely Blog. I very much enjoy your writings! And really wondering how that pallet garden is coming along…

  10. I just started this whole blog thing, and I sat down and read almost everything on your blog! You are a great writer and very entertaining! I know that this may be a stretch but I need a quick favor. You seem very mature, and I am having some issues which is why i started a blog. My first and only post so far is only 300 words, but I really need some feed back. If you could read it and help me in anyway you can I would be forever grateful. It seems pathetic that I have to ask like this but I just need help. I understand if you dont have time but I would appreciate any help you may be able to offer.

  11. Hi there – I looked to find a way to make my goofy comment here private, but could find none. Of the bloggers I’ve read through, your posts, (and apparent thought patterns), appear to be most similar to mine……so I offer you here my condolences. With that out of the way, I’m new to blogging and am beginning to think to the future, the ‘so what’ factor. Can you tell me why you feel it is important to have your own ‘dot com’ site (as opposed, for example, just being part of WordPress or another blogging community)? I just want to let all my words get out….do I need a dot com? Really appreciate your thoughts, no matter how convoluted you might make them for me. 😉
