Inspiration comes in many forms

I thought I would follow up yesterdays post with something inspirational. There are some truly inspirational women in this world. If you are willing to listen they have more to offer than most you can possibly imagine.

This was said by Mother Theresa. I hope that it gives you the much needed touch of love and wisdom that it gives to me.

People are often unreasonable, illogical, self- centered; Forgive them anyway

If you are kind, People may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God; It was never between you and them anyway.

  1. “You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God; It was never between you and them anyway.” Isn’t this the ultimate key.

  2. Very practical and inspriational, just as you intended. Loved the oen about the false friends and true enemies…sounds just like the problems Jesus encountered when He walked the earth. Like this a lot.

  3. “There are some truly inspirational women in this world. If you are willing to listen they have more to offer than most you can possibly imagine.”

Really true.I can see it right here .

    Cheers

  4. Wow thank you for this inspirational post. I love Mother Teresa’s teachings, and you’re right, there’s so much inspiration to be gleaned from women if us men just listen.

In the spirit of not listening, I have this quote of Mother Teresa’s in my signature line on emails: “We can do no great things, only small things with great love.”
